EUCSideEffect Posted September 12, 2022 Share Posted September 12, 2022 s22 worked amazingly well for the first 24hrs and had no issues after 2 charge cycles. Decided to try an update and that's when it all went downhill.... 1. Now the s22 will no longer power down on it's own. I have never seen something like this before with any other type of device what's going on here? This feel like a major hazard and KS needs to address it ASAP! The only way to force it off is to disassemble and unplug the battery manually. The switch won't even move, it becomes rock solid and will not push down until I unplug the battery and plug it back it but then stiffens up again. Can not discharge capacitors and it's really weird how the button feels like that... 2. Changed the update in the KS SoftTuner app multiple times but it doesn't seem to resolve the issue. 3. Won't connect to an android or EUC world. King Song support is non responsive so I though I would see if any of you heard about this issue before? At this time it looks like a lot of s22's are going to get shipped back to China unless King Song decides fix the update and reply to emails. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Also the push-button is a long hold (maybe 7 seconds or so). I have seen hardware problems (replaced controllers) that would not power down.
