Mine are still spinning but running rough from lots of winter riding. Check out mine DIY tool for removing bearings (Of course if sherman has the same bearings like my euc) Easy removal/install. Also adding thick grease layer around them will prevent future water ingress. I would even open the "new" bearings and replace the grease.. You don't know how much is inside. They may be running "pretty dry". I found this video, motor inside looks the same as mine so could help?
