BlckRck2014
Is the v12 safe to buy yet? I don't want to deal with mosfet issues. I ride singletrack like this (below YouTube). Am I thinking of the wrong ride? I like the battery safety of Inmotion and the IP water rating. 16' wheel concerns me a little (clearance in downhill Ruts). Can we add the HT kit to an existing v12? I have a v11 but I blow the shocks often. I do over torque it a bit, but not too much a problem. I am frustrated very often that I cringe at the least amount of damp ground. More power, no shock to replace, and being ok with water is my draw to the v12. Edited February 5, 2022 by BlckRck2014
Richardo
There has not yet been a board revision to the v12 that alters the mosfets. everything seems to be up in the air at this time.

Tawpie
The local "technical downhill" riders around these parts (EUC Bros and friends) seem to favor MSPs in spite of the water and (possible) battery issues. Their wheels sport so much duct tape that I'm not certain if the original shells are still in there, but with all the tape and yoga blocks they are serviceable. They probably have water proofed them too, this is a damp region. I think the S20/Master releases are targeting gnarly singletrack, they might be worth a look once the teething pains are worked through. S20's coil spring might be more durable, but nobody knows if the oil reservoir is going to break off (it looks very vulnerable).
