Was out for a ride today. Tire went flat suddenly. Tried to inflate the tire, air goes right out. Not even sure how to replace the tire or diagnose the problem fully.

Any helpful hints would be appreciated.

It's likely the tube has a puncture. Do a YT search on a Mten3(opps🥴) MCM5 teardown & either do a tube replacement or a puncture repair (same as bike tires) - your choice of poison.

Once the repair is done, you can also slime it as an additional protection.

Pretty sure its the tube. I just looked over the wheel and I dont see any imperfections.

What do you mean by slime it?

Watched a video of a breakdown. This seems a bit over my head. I can unscrew and disconnect cables but the guy is discharging capacitors and making cuts into the adhesive around the wiring. Is there a place and have this done professionally? Maybe Gotway customer support?

I dont think I have the tools or the skills to get to the tire ring.

Yes, same happened to me now and today I was trying to make it ready for my tube replacement that I ordered. But I gave up. I may have the V1 without speakers and I felt it was impossible to get that wheel out of the box. I was going to buy a new wheel anyways this spring so I will well this to someone for a cheap price because of the flat tire. Next wheel has to be easier to replace the tubes :(

I stumbled upon this old post, and boy oh boy, if you ever found that easy-to-maintain wheel, please let me know.

P.S.: I owned a MCM5 V2 for years now and currently due for a tire change. And my another wheel is the recent generation of Inmotion V12. The new wheel definitely does NOT improve on the tire change aspect. #FacePalm
