Couldn’t find my more recent thread, so I’m re booting this one…

Bought a Kenda K760 Trackmaster II (2.50-10) knobby for my buddy’s mcm5v2. I think I like it better than the Shinko 2.50-10 m/c 33j.

Havent rode the Kenda yet, but it didn’t rub the wheel well, so didn’t have to raise the shell this time. They’re both 6ply, heavy tires.
I’ve enjoyed riding the Shinko, tho. Perfectly fine tire.

So you didn't have to cut the inner + outer shell with those tires? And are you referring to shinko 520?

Hi, to be clear , the Shinko is on my wheel. The Kenda is on my buddy’s.
I did have to raise the shell and trim it for clearance when I put the Shinko on mine.

Later, I found the Kenda for his. When we installed it, we trimmed the shell, but found it did not rub inside at the top of the tire, so did not have to raise the shell, which is much better IMHO.

I would rec the Kenda for better fit.

Shinko has.  R520   0112-01  in small numbers.

2.50-10 M/C   33J   wrote large.

I love my little slow billy goat wheel. Let us know when you get it going !

The MCM5v2 is slow? 25-28mph on a 14" sure seems pretty fast to me!
