RazAquato Posted November 6, 2020 Posted November 6, 2020 Hi. I just purchased a new wheel (z10) and I've noticed that the wheel itself wobbles slightly (see video) I was just wondering if this is normal / within normal range or if it needs to be repaired/replaced? Thanks in advance for any replies :-) 1 Quote
RockyTop Posted November 6, 2020 Posted November 6, 2020 No, that does not look good. The tire might not be seated correctly. I would lay the wheel on its side, let the air out and reseat the tire. As you put air back in make sure the tire is centered on the rim. Quote
RazAquato Posted November 6, 2020 Author Posted November 6, 2020 Thanks for a quick reply. Will try that first and get back with results 🙂 1 Quote
RazAquato Posted November 6, 2020 Author Posted November 6, 2020 Seems the rim itself is offset 🙄 1 Quote
null Posted November 6, 2020 Posted November 6, 2020 Oh no, that sucks.. it might be possible to bend back but could need tools or experience. Maybe you could offset the tyre so it compensates.. Quote
RazAquato Posted November 6, 2020 Author Posted November 6, 2020 Just bad luck I guess.. The wheel is brand new, so I expect the dealer to fix it. 1 Quote

It takes a while to relearn the new grading curve that we all must accept, when it comes to the euc. However, you at least need a wheel that rolls somewhat smooth. I guess its still cheaper for the manufacturers to roll the dice and offer exchanges, rather than tighten specs. If you bought it from a reputable source, don't worry, youll eventually get a decent wheel. Quote
