Tryptych Posted October 17, 2020 Share Posted October 17, 2020 I bought a new case for my V8 off AliExpress and received something that doesn't fit - can you guys help me identify it? - My V8 is a "SoloWheel", and it has a red stripe around it. Are there "InMotion" V8s out there with a different case? It's possible this is the answer. - Otherwise it could be a V8F or V5/F case. - Below is a photo of the two halfs on top of each other for comparison(the old case is on top with the red stripe, the new one is below). If you look very closely you can see the notches that hold the case to the wheel do not match up. Also note the new case on the bottom has screw holes in the top (where the pad would be on a V8F). redsnapper Posted October 18, 2020 Share Posted October 18, 2020 v5 is 14" wheel so shell not same diameter... red stripe is a removable cosmetic feature on v8 shell to hide seam. pic is very hard to makeout - can u place both of them side by side for easier comparison...
