t33m
Anyone make something like pegs for your feet to go under to jump easier? (Ie see onewheel "flight fins" https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/flight-fins-are-you-ready-to-fly#/) If there's a reason to not do this... Why? svenomous
Wouldn't it be hard to "run off" the wheel, or generally to dismount, in an unexpected situation or emergency? It's like wearing cleats on a bicycle, and not managing to uncleat in time during an emergency stop. On a bike this means you flop over at low speed. On a wheel, having feet "trapped" under pegs at the wrong moment could mean very serious injury. Or am I missing something?
tessa25
Unlike a onewheel, you can hold an euc with your feet/calves. So it's just a matter of practice to do it.
t33m
True. I have seen this in videos but they do not go nearly as high as the OW guys.
tessa25
Chooch recently did a youtube video with jumps. So I figure that's the height limit. And speedyfeet did a great jumping howto video. I doubt I'll be able to go as high as them, but I'm working at it. Edited May 22, 2019 by tessa25
t33m
It might feel light cheating, but I think with some notches in there that log jump could be made easily. But maybe the MSX weighs like two OWs idk. I may experiment with my V5F soon to see what is possible while still safe.
