  1. Had a puncture in my Kenda tire. Took Lynx to a tire shop to fix it. They managed to mend the tire but have broken (said bolt snapped at first touch to unscrew) one of the four bolts holding the motor to the suspension plate. They said to have tried to extract the stump but failed. Is wheel still rideable considering the there is a recess on the motor plate that protrusion from suspension plate fits in. Is most of the torque/weight held this coupling and 1 bolt is not critical or wheel cannot be ridden without fixing this bolt (what if the stump cannot be removed .... buy a new motor?)
  2. I remember WrongWay riding Lynx for a long time. There were no complaints about pedal dipping before. So I assume this new complaint could be related to a new firmware. He didn't say if the same behavior is present in older firmware. I guess high ramp jumps in Austria were made prior to release of 09 firmware. and he mentions something like "the issue might be also due to the weak power supply to the IMU. We’re investigating further" I ride lot of stairs (down) and wouldn't want that something to happen there, as it would be pretty bad falling down a flight of stairs. I had no issues with 07 before so might be better off not upgrading, even if there is a slightest chance issue is firmware related and yet you say you are riding park without issues while jumping. Still dont know what to do. I hate when these issues arise in the pause of my riding. Looks like we constantly shifting from Lynx being excpetionally good to being problematic.
  3. I have not updated the firmware from 07. Not to 09 nor 011. I dont care about accelaration assist if it brings trouble. I havent riden my Lynx for a while (summer heat does not go well wth being fully geared up) With 07 I've never had any trouble with whelel acting up on jumps or otherwise. Should I stay on older firmware? Anyone else stayed with 07?
  4. Any reason why should one upgrade from 07 and have accelaration assist off?
  5. No dice. Alcans are less bulky but, as always with lighter shoes, offer less support and, although not by a very large margin, less control compared to Forma Evo Low. Evo ticks almost all marks but has annoying effect, due to extremely stiff toe box, of grinding against and causing pain to my upper toe (nail). Still not giving up and the next candidate is Alpinestars Belize Drystar Waterproof Motorcycle Boots - buy cheap ▷ FC-Moto I even had the luck that "dogfight" between two exists. Should be more padded on the inside and I took one size up this time.
  6. Yeah. I own these https://www.fc-moto.de/epages/fcm.sf/?ObjectPath=/Shops/10207048/Products/Forma-Terra-Evo-Low-Motorcycle-Boots/SubProducts/Forma-Terra-Evo-Low-Motorcycle-Boots-0008&Locale=en_AU&gad_source=1&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI5Me69PiChgMV1JiDBx0GUgtQEAAYASAAEgKDfPD_BwE but they are on the heavy side with most rigid toe area i have ever seen. Generally pleased with them but they lack comfort. Decided to go witth less height and bought 2 pairs that didnt cut it due to lacking enough ankle support and rigidity for stable riding. So after trying and riding with them I had to give up on these two. Actually, I kept Dainese as walking rain shoe. https://www.fc-moto.de/epages/fcm.sf/en_US/?ObjectPath=/Shops/10207048/Products/Icon-Overlord-Vented-CE-Moto-Boots https://www.fc-moto.de/epages/fcm.sf/en_US/?ObjectPath=/Shops/10207048/Products/Dainese-York-Air-Ladies-Motorcycle-Shoes/SubProducts/Dainese-York-Air-Ladies-Motorcycle-Shoes-0005 Was also eying these as possible candidates https://www.fc-moto.de/epages/fcm.sf/en_US/?ObjectPath=/Shops/10207048/Products/Icon-Stormhawk-WP-Motorcyclce-Boots/SubProducts/Icon-Stormhawk-WP-Motorcyclce-Boots-0026 https://www.fc-moto.de/epages/fcm.sf/en_AU/?ObjectPath=/Shops/10207048/Products/SHIMA-Strato-WP-Ladies-Motorcycle-Boots/SubProducts/SHIMA-Strato-WP-Ladies-Motorcycle-Boots-0006 but finally came up with Icon Alcan as possible solution them being similar to Forma but less bulky and more comfortable (ordered, not tried them yet)
  7. What do you think of these? Anyone has them? https://www.fc-moto.de/en/Icon-Alcan-WP-CE-waterproof-Motorcycle-Boots?gad_source=1&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIz_PGm8yChgMVdoCDBx3DTgmqEAAYAiAAEgL76PD_BwE
  8. I had glitches that were resolved by power cycling
  9. Recently I've moved my OS alarm and tiltback from 50 Km/h to 60 km/ as I was reaching it too frequently . Now it happens that wheel titlbacks sooner than the 60 km/h probably due to OS tiltback percentage (is that same as PWM?) which is set at 75%. What should speeds should be reachable with 75% OS tiltback percentage on a flat ground with avarage weight rider. I thing I shoudl not be reaching tiltback before 60 km/h beacuse of that setting.
  10. Dont like that i see this. I just replaced my old wheel (v12 HT) with Lynx due to cutoff.. https://www.instagram.com/reel/C3h8Rj2M3aX might have slipped on the grovel
  11. Funny thing is that I miss the involvement that v12 required from you . I was mostly riding street. You needed to couteract every single obstacle (bumps, potholes, bulges), wheel would bonk on the asphalt creases and ride was incredibly dynamic. Now I feel like can go to sleep while riding. Suspension covers for all the small obstacles on the pavement and its weight and size extends the reaction time once you "forcefully" engage (instead of reacting to the pothole you can just go through it.) On the positive side you can now be more relaxed with jumping curbs instead of bonking them. Bonking works up to certain height and than afterrwards its really stressfull to do higher ones which require combining bump and deweight, I know, even non suspension wheels can be jumped onto curbs,- but suspension really makes it easy with preload and jump technique. Also downhill runs feel more stable whereas I would not be confortable to ride V12 over 40 Km/h on a winding downhill. Maybe it is offroad and speed where this wheel excels and I wanted to cover all the bases which It is not so ideal for my curent riding style. Hoping I would venture now more to offroading. Just looking forward to that umph that was really present with V12. I mostly reacted with mpulse to that fact that it dropped me and wanted something totally different as a replacement. Especially regarding safety. I hope, at least i got that with Lynx, as without it there is no peace of mind, no matter how appealing the ride feels.
  12. Anyone coming from 16" wheel? I had V12HT and decided to replace before I end up badly injured (had cutout twice). Lynx is super comfortable but I miss that kick from smaller and lighter (torquier) whee and immediacy of the non- suspension. Will that buzz return after a while and one gets adjusted to Lynx's dimensions. Should i have chosen V14 or Paton? (I wanted to avoid Inmotion altogether).
  13. Why can't the EUC world and other apps also invoke buzzer sound when Leaperkim app can do it without a problem?
  14. Is there any way to use internal beeper as a bell/horn? in Lk app there is an alarm button and the wheel beeps when you press it. This sound would be enough for me and as it would not require any external hardware but a Flic button to activate it through phone. Don't know why EUC World does not recognize LK horn? If LK app can beep on key press, why can't the other apps access this function (none of them can).
  15. Its still happening. Happened to me a year ago also. Find my post in the thread from 25.12.2022. Thought it might be my riding error (rationalization so i can continue using the wheel). Then...out of blue...again. Yesterday while riding normal asphalt road, slightly downhill, I looked at the stars again. This is the best explanation of the glitch. You suddenly, for no apparent reason, find yourself on your butt watching the sky. Had impact shorts on but it still hurts badly. To best explain it, it looked like the wheel was accelerating on breaking. Not to mention that wheel always continues to roll and by pure luck, even the second time, I didn't hit nobody. I don't intend to push my luck any further. This wheel is really dangerous, no matter how rarely it happens. Here's the log snippet of the critical time
