versus Posted September 27 Posted September 27 (edited) Had a puncture in my Kenda tire. Took Lynx to a tire shop to fix it. They managed to mend the tire but have broken (said bolt snapped at first touch to unscrew) one of the four bolts holding the motor to the suspension plate. They said to have tried to extract the stump but failed. Is wheel still rideable considering the there is a recess on the motor plate that protrusion from suspension plate fits in. Is most of the torque/weight held this coupling and 1 bolt is not critical or wheel cannot be ridden without fixing this bolt (what if the stump cannot be removed .... buy a new motor?) DavidB Posted September 28 Posted September 28 (edited) I think RideOne(?) did a video on fixing this sort of thing. Edit...Go to 17min mark for one type of fix And this covers most fixes.. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dJfkCj3FWBs&pp=ygUbaG93IHRvIHJlbW92ZSBhIGJyb2tlbiBib2x0 Edited September 28 by DavidB Additional info Quote
