  1. I really appreciate this design for making things simpler for my editing. I am just getting into TPU printing, but have been printing in ABS for a long time. I wanted to change the design a little to use foam in the holes for crash protection, so added holes at the top. I am planning to apply a few layers of TPU using my 3D pen to give it more rigidity when printed with ABS. Baby foam pads on the inside might help with comfort. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4942604
  2. My day 10 training on ACM v2 I was focusing on increasing my stamina while riding. In the morning session, I could only ride for 5 min. The evening session was a little longer. I had a few failed starts in the morning and one in the evening. I hit a peak of 28mph per EUC World app, but I dont know when.
  3. Congratulations on getting your new 18XL. I am learning to ride the borrowed ACM v2 while waiting for RS19 HT. I watched a bunch of videos and tried different things in parallel. I noticed that practice improves riding ease. I am sure you will learn to ride quickly with a little practice. My trials and tribulations are recorded for posterity here to get feedback from other experienced riders.
  4. This is of immense help to me. I forgot to take pictures while removing the silicone goop & plugs. Once my new MCM5 v2 motor arrives, I will be able to re-wire everything correctly based off of this diagram.
  5. I pre-ordered the RS19 HT from ewheels. I am on the waiting list for October delivery. After 6 days of gap, I had a very productive day of training today. I was able to ride in the morning and evening (no rain, FTW). I experimented with capturing the video while riding, and finally found the right process for me. I put in a small outro interruption in the video towards the end for fun. Please excuse my facial stubble, that was not even in my mind after the ride.
  6. Day 8 training gave me a little confidence. I figured out the trick to gliding start. Put all your weight on the EUC before takeoff. I am able to do pedal scraping left turns without stopping. I turn my foot to the left to catch the ground before the pedal. The right pedal scraping turn still stops me as I am not able to turn my right foot to that extent. I seem to be able to move my feet on the ACM v2. The next training will probably be on a grass field with uneven ground. I forgot the gopro while rushing to get to the tennis court, so filmed the training on my phone.
  7. I am working on a parallel but separate setup for MCM5v2. The idea: have a plug to disconnect the -ve for internal battery pack, and connect the external pack in parallel. I am still waiting for the motor+hub to arrive, so cant test yet.
  8. I have taken apart both brick & flat battery packs last week. I instantly recognized both from your pic. They have a shared connection, else both are different. I may have to build the flat pack with samsung 30Q cells due to the number of water damaged cells.
  9. Your pic has the flat (1 pcs) & brick (2 pcs) bms in it. I hope you are not planning on using the brick bms boards to build your flat bms board. It is possible with bridge wires, but avoidable.
  10. I have ordered the MCM v2 flat bms as well. I have to rebuild the flat battery pack as the previous one has water damage. Let me know if you need pics of the wires to the flat bms, or you already solved your problem.
  11. Thank you for your suggestion that my progress is normal. Should I move my training to the grass field that is definitely longer than 1/4 mile? Or should I switch to the roads in my community with very little traffic?
  12. Day 7 training was very slightly productive. I was trying to do the gliding self start, but ended up jumping on the ACM instead. I need more ankle muscles, so I stopped doing the daily 20hr keto fasting for now. I am able to do a very large figure 8s. I had my first fall during a start instead of how I remembered it (figure 8s practice). Please advice on what I need to do next with my training to get better. Link to Day 7 training video
  13. My day 6 of training was very productive. I tried right circles, left turns (need more practice), unassisted start/mount (wobbly). At one point I thought I was Zoolander who can't turn left, but finally does. I very much appreciate your feedback to assist with my training. Link to Day 6 training video
  14. I will definitely try riding on mowed grass field in my community center after I learn to do unassisted mounting.
