  1. What do you guys think about this helmet? I don't see any certifications though, should I look for that? Is it protective enough? Price is good, weight is excellent, looks great.... Demon Podium MIPS Helmet https://www.ebay.ca/itm/384013677325?var=652302158774
  2. Those helmets posted above look so sci fi cool. I would need to master the wheel like one of those youtubers to deserve to wear such a cool helmet.
  3. Went with V8S, to balance the range with weight requirements. I will post later when I try it out.
  4. Thanks. Uff, Demon staff looks good but is it worth it? What about something like this, is it not enough protective: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B00GG7AYLG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apan_glt_i_R6C256YX7Y7K2N7PNDV3?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
  5. Thanks. Spoke with smart wheels and they told me the same. Went with vaneuc.
  6. Finally decided to get the V8s. Can I just get skating style wrist guards and helmet at the beginning while I learn? I would hate wasting time to gear up and down, I just wanna ride here and there for a short time without needing to protect everywhere... Any good set to get outthere, like amazon?
  7. Do you pay Canadian duties and HST when you receive the wheel? How much are the duties? How's Ewheel support for customers in Canada?
  8. Has anyone in Canada purchased from Ewheels in USA? I would like to know if you paid sales tax or customs fees? Also how's the customer support to another country
  9. What do you think about the V8S? Is it worth getting this over the V8F for the range for USD $350 more. The battery is around 750 WH. Someone above had the V8F and the Tesla - do you think Tesla is harder for learning for adults or kids due to its bigger weight?
  10. I am now leaning towards the V8S. It took me less time and thinking to get a house and a car. I like the weight on the V8S for the kids and me to learn on it. Is it worth getting this over the V8F for the range? It is $400 more and has a 50% bigger battery. I would love more range. Tesla V3 is just $200 more than the V8S but I think it is better to keep the weight lower so we can all easily learn... Any thoughts? V8S or V8F? or Tesla V3? The main consideration is now the balance between weight and range...Well I also like the reputation and quietness of the V8 as a first wheel, but if we like it I would get a bigger one for me down the road and leave this one to the kids.... Is it going to be harder for the kids (girls 7 and 11) to learn on the Tesla V3 than on the V8S?
  11. Thanks. I just saw a review mentioning a whining motor sound for the V3. Is this something that could be fixed?
  12. I'm looking at getting the Tesla T3 as my first wheel. Is this just an upgrade from V2? Is it good for a first wheel? Could a kid ride it?
  13. Since the used KS S16 has been sold hours before I came to the shop #@$%$#@ and since there are no used wheels anywhere I am now thinking about a new one - they have Tesla T3 for 1950 CAD which seems like a good deal - i love the specs. Does anyone have Tesla T3, how is it? How is it for learning for adults and for kids?
  14. OK guys, if anyone knows where to get a used or even a new unicycle in Canada pls let me know! Smartwheels.ca in Burlington don't have anything used. Inmotion in Ottawa or Kijiji is the same. Cannot get a hold of VanEUC in Vancouver. Do Ewheels in US have used? I know they ship to Canada.
  15. I was thinking the same things. One thing that I am not sure about is the existing 1230 km mileage on the KS-S16. Is this a lot for a wheel? Does it affect it in any way besides the scratches that it has, such as diminished battery or motor power....?
