bpong Posted April 24 Share Posted April 24 (edited) 18 minutes ago, Monoxplorer said: Any shoulder protection? none. my top speed is around 50kph, no faster. and im strictly street commuting. if one is going faster, yeah, shoulder pads would be the next added layer of protection i would think, aside from perhaps a spinal support as well (motocross equip i think...)...IMO... but , ... im currently waiting on my delivery of a lynx. its an euc capable of much faster speeds. i did update my shin and elbow pads. and since i still plan on riding within my speed envelop, i will not be adding additional gear. may be a simple leather jacket, but thats it. since i will not be riding at break neck speeds, i dont think i will need to gear up all that much even with a more powerful euc... sure, i may get some stretches of empty streets where i can ride abit faster. but in general, i will be still riding slow compared to the rest of the younger faster riders.
