BKW
The charger I use for my Sherman Max -- a 100V, 5 amp charger, I think -- makes a growling noise when I first plug it into the EUC. This noise lasts probably 30-40 seconds then slowly winds down to the typical charger noise you would hear. The growling noise is pretty loud. Pretty sure someone here has experienced this before? I have a suspicion as to why this is happening, but instead of giving my bro-science theory on it, I'll let someone first try to explain why this might be occurring... UniVehje
My S22 charger has started to do the same. My bro-science theory is that the bearing in the fan is just low quality and makes noise when cold. The fan is probably easy to change and very likely available in computer stores. So far I'm just ignoring it but interested if someone has fixed this issue already.
RagingGrandpa
Fan buzz; likely normal. To prove it, you could stick a plastic zip-tie into the fan blades to jam it before starting the charger... (but don't run fanless for more than a minute). 1

RagingGrandpa
@GothamMike & @sbb: please take it easy with the sarcasm in "help" topics like this... the OP had a serious question, and may not get your jokes.
