Hi I'm wondering if you can extend the s18 by supplying 2a through the charge port from a backpack unit that can supply that... I mean... while riding?

Love the s-18 suspension platform, but I have a 30 mile route I'd want to do occasionally.

Pretty sure someone did a slick mod on an s18 to extend range…Somewhere here.

Or, you could take your charger with, and have an hour long “power” lunch.

When I rode the C&O from Cumberland to D.C. , I did two 60 mile days and a fifty doing just that.

Full charges overnight, of course.

I am not 100% sure on this, but suspect the answer to that is almost certainly 'no'.

If i'm not mistaking, i heard that you can do that. But the max speed will be reduced to around ~20kph. (So said speed limit.)

Try connecting charger to wheel and check "APP", doesn't it say something about speed while charging? <<< Do that. (At least mine 18xl says "speed limit 20kph".)

Fastest way to find out would be a test. Connect charger and try to power up euc. Can you ride it? :D (Original charger doh.. Idk about fast chargers.)

Thanks for the responses guys, and though I can't find it now and attach the link I did find somewhere a guy describing doing this and he found it was as Funky states - rideable, but warning beeps he thought even before 20. Didn't think it was worth it but I guess in some circumstances it might be.
