Denny Paul Posted December 5, 2021 Share Posted December 5, 2021 Hi all, Have a friend with a Sherman with red buttons. Can anyone tell me what they know about when this was produced? Any idiosyncrasies to be aware of about it? New rim vs old rim? Higher pedals? He also mentions that the high speed beeps kick in lower than another Sherman he compared it to. His red button version beeps somewhere around 40-42mph on a full charge. Can anyone corroborate this? Would he need to replace the board to fix it, or is it possible to update the firmware? Thanks! Whitebeard Posted December 6, 2021 Share Posted December 6, 2021 I have met many Red button Sherman’s that were mainly produced in 2020 when it first came out. Black button LCD panels were the updated Sherman with updated higher pedals and wider black rim. However, changing the LCD panels are super easy so your friend will need to look inside. The beep at higher speed could be the limit set in the setting.
