Brent
I moved from Califonia to Puerto Rico (US territory) due to Job reason, I just found out ewheels.com doesn't ship there? Puerto Rico is an US Territory (not a foreign country) and part of US. All US citizens, passports, banking, using dollars, USPS, and people speak English etc etc. Puerto Rico has larger population than Alaska and Hawaii combined, closer to Miamai Florida (ewheels' headquarter). I know Voromotor (California) or Minimotor NYC ship their escooter to Puerto Rico, but I would like to buy an unicycle MCM5 V.2 instead, which is smaller than escooter. Ewheels.com has the best reputation. Anybody knows @Jason Mcneil and if you can ask him, I would appreciate it. Thank You !

BG provided figures for pedal height, pehaps this is the depressed figure. For the BG pedal lengths, they're offering to install those massive 13" die-cast pedals at the factory for only a pitence more. We'll be doing this for the upcoming RS, EX.N. MonsterPro orders as standard. The next version will have both the Pedal Height & Pedal Clearance, which is probably of more interest. Hi Jason, Slight off topic, I need to buy a wheel. Is there anyway ewheels.com ship to Puerto Rico (US territory, just off Miami FL)? meepmeepmayer
If you want to reach ewheels, email them. They seem to have great and fast customer support this way. Is there maybe a service that forwards packages to PR from the continental US, that could act as an intermediate? Order from ewheels to their adress and have the package sent to you then? Or maybe EUCO will ship to PR. They have a great reputation, too. There's also Freemotion (Canada but seem to ship to US). @Jason McNeilonce called them his archenemy (or something like that), so they must do something right. See end of this post for other sellers (not sure how current that list is):
Brent
EUCO said no, now they finally fix their check out page. They also tried to charge me $100 for cancellation for something they can't ship, not cool. They finally backdown. Thanks ! GothamMike
EUCs cannot be shipped via air. Contact Fedex, UPS, or USPS and see if you can arrange shipping. https://www.fedex.com/content/dam/fedex/us-united-states/services/Shipping-Lithium-Batteries-via-FedEx-Ground.pdf Fedex wont. GothamMike
https://pe.usps.com/text/pub52/pub52c3_027.htm USPS will only ship 5.5 pound battery packs. UPS had a terrible plane fire a while back, many died. Contact a common carrier that ships stuff via boat from Florida to PR, they might do it. You might have to find someone who can create 5.5 lb battery packs for you that can be installed in a empty EUC. Would it work? THis is a perfect example why we need removable batteries. You might want to start your own import business and have the EUCs shipped to you directly. Is there a lot of shipping out of PR to the rest of the Caribbean? It could be pretty profitable for you. Brent
It can be done with UPS or Fedex ground via ship, but these EUC vendors just not doing it because they think Puerto Rico is not part of US. ,,,,,Ewheels ship to Hawaii and Canada BUT not PUERTO RICO...NOT COOL,,, Scooter, Voromotors and RevRides do ship to PR... GothamMike
You should contact the Governor's office in San Juan. There has got to be a common carrier who will deliver it via boat from Miami or a big East Coast port. Ask a Ford or Tesla dealer how they are getting E-Vehicles onto the Island. There has got to be a shipper for cars and motorcycles. https://www.puertoricocartransport.com/car-shipping-to-puerto-rico.php Give them a call. They ship from Philly and Jacksonville. Brent
Quote Thanks, they are very expensive. Few US vendors (alien rides and rev rides, some ebayers) do ship to Puerto Rico.
GothamMike
I was looking at Car shipping companies. The cars have to be sent with only a 1/4 tank of gas. You may be SOL.
eucentricbiped
@BrentA bit late to this thread but I also moved from the US mainland to PR last year! The struggle is real trying to find a EUC vendor that is willing to ship to PR... I couldn't find any. My plan for purchasing future EUCs involves using an intermediary service like myus.com . At the time I was interested in preordering the KingSong S20, I asked myus.com if they would be willing to receive and ship the EUC to PR and they said yes. I haven't yet successfully pulled this off but will update the thread next time I order a wheel. I'm also open to ideas if you discover a way to make it work! I did confirm with them that they can ship direct to Puerto Rico so long as the package weighs less than 66 lbs. That unfortunately filters out a lot of the extreme performance wheels since they typically weigh more than that. For those I'll stick with my plan to use MyUS.com Edited May 25, 2022 by eccentricbiped

Maybe if they send the battery packs separately? 66lbs is plenty for a battery-less wheel. Might work for all models. 1
GothamMike
You may want to call Bronx Congressmen, AOC for example, as they have a high number of Boricuas in their district. Congressional staffers can be helpful. I’m Surprised the USPS does not have sea-based shipping to PR and USVI How does someone with an electric Wheelchair get spare parts?
