Eyesore
Hi everyone. I will be receiving my first euc in the coming week and was wondering if anyone has a link to a guide or would be willing to give me the lowdown on all the important steps in unpacking testing and setting up. Thanks so much in advance.
meepmeepmayer
Not much to do. Check that it works (balances). Check that it charges to full voltage/100% battery. Pump up the tire. Enjoy (Apps are actually not that important, but you can download an app on your phone and connect it to the wheel. Everything should be pretty self-explanatory).

Menace
You will probably also have to unlock it. If it is a kingsong or inmotion it is done through the app, if a gotway you will have to: turn it on, hold lift switch, press power button 5 times, release lift switch, turn it off, and then back on again. I think shermans just have to be plugged into the charger, but I could be wrong. If it is a gotway you might also want to do a quick visual inspection, checking for defects and such (probably a good idea with any wheel). Have fun!

I'm guessing it's the high speed? I do know that it's shipped with the knobby tire. It's coming UPS and is said to be arriving here tomorrow... although tracking says it's stuck about 6 hrs away. I will update as soon as I know anymore. Any more tips are always welcome! :)

Anything else I would want to keep the Rs too. More tips? I think this thread has covered pretty much everything as far as initial set up. As far as learning (since you say it is your first euc), there are lots of good videos and threads out there showing how to ride. I would watch some of them, if you haven't already. My #1 tips are probably be patient, look far off into the distance (not down), don't give up, and Have fun! Eyesore
Thank you! I am pretty confident that I will pick up riding as I grew up cycling skiing skateboarding and dabbled in most everything in-between :) really excited to jump in. Mostly want to make sure that I'm not gonna wreck anything!
Eyesore
Okay probs a stupid question... where do I find the verification code to use the app? Should I even use the begode app?
Eyesore
Holy shnikes it's a Hayabusa! If my learning curve is 1/10 of the speed on this thing I should be good to go! Any ideas or tips on padding it up? I was thinking cheap yoga mats and 2 sided tape?
