MSX 100v light upgrade?

Recommended Posts

You can fit the Nikola light in, which has a bigger diameter and is definitely brighter, but I don't know if it will still be enough for your purposes.

You do need to dremmel out the original plastic housing, and you lose the screw mounting point but I just used a dab of hot glue to hold it in place.

The next best option is to run the MSP dual headlights (which do fit the MSX shells) but you will also need the MSP motherboard with the LED driver.

Failing that, just buy a decent LED torch which are ten a penny and you don't have the issue of blinding oncoming vehicles/people like with the MSP setup.

I rarely do night riding but if I do and I need more than the Nik light (for safety on unlit roads/paths) I use an Ebay LED bike light which has a remote 4 cell 18650 pack. The pack just sits in my jacket pocket and I hold the light. Cheap as chips and more than enough light. You even get a head mount with it which is handy for home/camping use:
