I share you 52mph Sherman video with other PEV riders who doubt the capabilities of an EUC. Also my tesla stands in the same position as the nikola. Nearly as good as a stand imo. That detail about the handle disengaging the wheel is pretty weird. Not sure why they decided on that instead of a dedicated cutoff button. Unfortunately when I broached the subject with Jason of eWheels to put me in his lineup to test out demo wheels, he flat out shot me down. His reasoning was the DMV area wasn't lucrative for him. Truth be told, my Youtube channel wasn't large enough for him to entertain the notion. Because unicycling is my passion, his refusal to allow me to try out his demo wheels was not going to stop me from reviewing new wheels.. So I decided, if I couldn't get to try free wheels, I'd pay for them. The ones I don't like, I'd sell. So, that's where I'm at with these wheels. Sad but true story. As far as the disengaged button on the V11. Most EUC manufacturers are opting for placing them in the lift handle. At least Gotway does. Riders just have to be super careful when they go to grab the handle under certain conditions, because when you think you're grabbing the handle for whatever reason, you just maybe disengaging the wheel and out of surprise, the wheel goes limp on you. Kurtosis Posted November 17, 2020 Share Posted November 17, 2020 I would assume that the disengage button wouldn't activate if the wheel is currently moving above some small speed. I know the spin kill button on the Mten3 doesn't do anything if the wheel is already spinning (which while annoying when you want it is definitely a good safety feature). Cutiyo Posted November 18, 2020 Author Share Posted November 18, 2020 My concern is if you lose your footing, hop off the wheel and crab it in a hurry or when you are going to grab it after folding the trolley and it goes limp. It happened to me that's why I caution people to be careful how they grab it. But when you are not thinking about it and it happens, it's quite a surprise.
