BrainLess
I am new rider and I would like to buy my first EUC. I have seen an used MSX 84v 1860wh that should have 6 months of life an 1200km ride. The price seems good (900 eur), but I am a bit worried because I have no idea how to look for nasty problems in an used EUC. The milage should be checkable by the app, but how I can be sure that it has not been bad handled? That the milage has not been reset somehow, that the battery is in good shape, ... Before buying an used car I would let my trusted mechanic to see it, but what I should check for on an used EUC?

Never heard of some "special app" for GW to change internal data... 24 minutes ago, BrainLess said: that the battery is in good shape, ... One can easily check, If the battery reaches (and holds) some reported 83-84V after charging.

The voltage check can be done by the gotway app?
meepmeepmayer
If the battery charges to full (holds the voltage, use any app to see the voltage, it's supposed to be >84V) and there is no obvious mechanical damage (maybe closely check the rim to see if it is dented) or signs of a big crash (just ask for crashes), there is little that can be wrong with a used wheel
BrainLess
I think I will buy it then, the price seams reasonable (900 eur- 1000 usd) for a 6 month wheel with 1200 km. Is it also possible to see the number of cycles that the battery endured?
meepmeepmayer
Yeah the price is reasonable. 1200km is essentially new (unless the wheel is banged up heavily). 1860Wh is roughly 70-90km range, so 1200km divided by that means you definitely have less than 20 charge cycles (again, virtually new).
