Kingsong 16s problems after downloading new firmware.

Hi all,

This is the 3rd time I've downloaded new firmware since having my wheel and everytime I get into problems so I'm hoping someone can please help.

Since downloading the new firmware my wheel bleeps its alarm and gives tiltback at maybe about 12mph without excessive acceleration. I did have the Kingsong app and EUC World app both installed but have since deleted the Kingsong and now have EUC World only, I wondered if 2 apps could be conflicting and causing problems.

I have tried manipulating the alarm settings and still cannot get any speed increase.

In the EUC world app on the main round dial that shows speed, battery and temperature there is now a hatched red arc outside the right of the temperature scale. Is this the problem? It seems to suggest something is set too high or about to overheat?

Any help greatly appreciated, thanks :)

That means, that speed is limited - as you notice the alarm and tiltback.

Speed limit (tiltback) is set like this at maximum for your wheel?:

Thanks @Chriull

I've since managed to restore the old firmware and it now seems to be ok.

The red hatched area on the dial is still at the top and I haven't any idea what that is for.

I've taken my wheel out today for about 10 -12 miles of riding fairly fast including hills in a very hot sunny day and the temperature indicator bar is showing red at 53oC that kinda sounds high to me and I don't like the look of the red bar - is it anything to be concerned about?

Thanks :)
