HalfGlass
Is this strange repeating noise normal? Just opened the box with Nik+ 100v, bought it at ewheels... https://imgur.com/gallery/FZbFlIN thank you!
Dan Hillary
Yep, get on and ride a little and the board will tell the fan to stay on instead of pulsing. My MSP does this sometimes shortly after powering on as well.
RockyTop
Sadly... yes that is normal. How hard would it have been to write a 10 - 30 second delay off In the fan software. The fan comes on because the board is hot. The fan comes on and cools the board and turns the fan off but then the board gets hot so it turns back on. Over and over.
HalfGlass
Thank you guys, I started worrying already 🙃 Didn't know that. It's pretty unusual tbh
Ben Hatfield
I made a very similar post 11 days ago I think (MSP)? Also on the new Monster. So MSP, new Monster and Nic+ apparently have this unique fan feature

The fan behavior is normal in various Gotway wheels and is indicative of simple sensor control, not a software controlled function. All Gotway fan equipped wheels seem to do the same.
