Anyone know why the Ninebot S1 got pulled from Amazon?

Maybe they're coming out with a new model? These reasons for pulling look like maybe bullshit, then again maybe they're getting too many returns because they're hard to learn.

Amazon use that same statement on anything that has a high return rate.  I suspect most people think they will be riding it in half an hour and when they can't, they get upset and send it back, saying it's a bad design and impossible to ride.  I also heard something somewhere about a batch of units with bad batteries due to being stored in Amazon's warehouse for too long.  I think it was the S1 that this happened with but I'm not certain.

It came back!

I was actually hoping they'd put it on sale, I'd like one of these for friends and maybe riding around inside work or something.

Yeah I want one too.  If they come to Canada I will snap one up if I can.  The same performance as my E+ but a fair bit smaller and lighter gets a thumbs up for me.
