Cloud
Does anyone know if Gotway's charging port can be used as an additional auxilary power source? Upon full battery I measured about 66v across charging contacts of msuper 2. Maybe with a voltage converted this could be used as a source of auxilary piwer for things like flashlights, speakers, etc? can battery / bms gurus shed the light? Keith
@Cloud, I REALLY wouldn't recommend it, I do not know what BMS the Gotway's use but it should be designed to prevent shorts and reversals, which is what taking power from the charging lead will look like, it also may not necessarily prevent over discharge, as you would not expect a charger to result in the voltage being too low. better to add a parallel connector to the power side of the BMS/battery. electric_vehicle_lover
Maybe not using that port for safety reasons but take out a cable from the mains: https://github.com/EGG-electric-unicycle/documentation/wiki/MicroWorks-30B4-controller-board-RGB-LED-strip
