Pingouin
OliverH, I didn't see any difference when riding in hard mode or soft mode (with gotway and firewheel), it's only depending on the pedals, or maybe the position between the knees I'm not sure, I think it has alot to do with the lengh of the pedals, because my toes are above the ground and not standing on the pedal, and I have small feet (39)
Eric Jorgensen
Hi everyone, I have a Follow-up: Thanks to your advice, I have been able to increase my non-stop riding distance from just over 1 mile to just under 2 miles. Here are the things that helped, with the most effective items first: Rebalancing the NB on an incline so the front of the pedals tilt up about 1 degree Widening my stance so that my feet aren't right next to the machine Learning to weave and sashay to lower the stress on the feet. (this made it more fun to ride overall) Adjusting my stance so that my arch is over the center of the pedal (my toes end up hanging over by ~8cm) Improved muscle tone with extra practice and exercise Wearing shoes with a stiffer soles Things I plan to try in the future: Arch support inserts (my feet are a little flat) learning to ride on one leg (how in the heck???) Thanks everyone for the help! My morning commute is much better! -e
