who_the Posted July 21, 2016 Share Posted July 21, 2016 Instead of charging when I plug it in to the charger, my IPS Zero now powers itself on as soon as I connect the power cord. Just started happening after a few months of issue-free operation and several hundred miles of riding. Since it turns on when I plug it in, it also won't charge. who_the Posted July 24, 2016 Author Share Posted July 24, 2016 PROBLEM SOLVED! Embarrassingly, this was pure operator error. I was using the wrong power adapter, a 5V adapter with the same plug and (I suspect) inverted polarity. I say "I suspect" because the IPS adapter does not have a polarity diagram printed on it.
