i hope its not the fault of the euc rider.  but this is not good for our euc community... if the accident happened on a sidewalk,  the euc rider is responsible...

A unicycle rider hit a female pedestrian in south Etobicoke Tuesday evening, sending the two to the hospital.

Police say they received a call just after 10 p.m. for a collision in the area of Lake Shore Boulevard West and Twenty Sixth Street, west of Kipling Avenue.

Toronto paramedics told CP24 that the pedestrian was taken to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Meanwhile, the rider of the motorized unicycle was also hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

What caused the collision is unknown.

Interesting how the Toronto Police categorized the vehicle as a Motorized Unicycle.

Hope both rider and pedestrian recover fully.
Also hope this doesn't spur changes to the law.

After e-scooters killed several elderly, Singapore ended all PEVs on sidewalks and implemented strict regulations with all e-vehicles travelled no more than 10 mph and only allowed on certain trails called connectors.
