Battery Charge Limits?

Recommended Posts

My understanding of lithium batteries is that you achieve the best lifespan (charge/discharge cycles) when the charge level is maintained between ~30-70% of maximum.  Is this something that's just built-in to the charge behavior in all wheels?  If not, are there any brands whose software includes a charge-limit function?  Thanks,

Charge levels between 5-45% would achieve even better lifespans, but charge wear is probably not the most important aspect to battery life, there is much more to it. You may want to look into this thread for a start

No.

I don't think so, but you can buy this accessory

see also this thread

You could also use a timer to disconnect the charger before it charged to full (above 90% is the part with the by far most cycle wear).
