novazeus
yeah, that's it. thanks. u know, i got them because i got tired of scraping my thin skin on the inside of my legs from lousy step offs, but seeing these broken bones below the knee, i can see how these neoprene wraps might help prevent these breaks or lessen them. They may lessen that force a little but that's why I'm glad the v13 pedal spikes are mild. I feel like they are just enough for grip without overdoing it during an unexpected departure.

Everybody has got a preference. I used to skate and grip tape is good but I am not trying to do kickflips on my unicycle. So I just bought some hiking spikes that you put on your shoes and put them on my pedals. If I feel its too much I can just take them off. Literally takes 2 seconds. I think I got the idea from a WrongWay video?
novazeus
here's my below my belly button protective gear: first i put on my demon long pants. then i put on my weightlifter shin guards. then, either the demon knee guards or the $100 leatts that are incoming. then for shoes i use these mte hi top boa lacing van's. nice flat sole without the waffle. plus the quick release ratcheting shoelace boa system is great. and wrapped around all of this where my leg touches the wheel on holding it on one leg, neoprene on the outside. wheel and leg. it's 76f and tornadoes here now, so no riding today. great for the cows though with all this blow down. good for the trees as well ditching their spanish moss.
