the_deeb
I’m selling my MCM5v2 (800Wh) for $900. Pick up in the north Bronx. This was my starter wheel, bought from ewheels in 2021. I don’t ride it much anymore since upgrading to a bigger wheel, though it’s still a super fun wheel with crazy torque. I had switched out the motor after ~800 miles and it’s only been ridden ~10 miles since then. When I changed the motor I had also replaced the side panels, added fresh cowles bumper trim and a bead of caulk for waterproofing and new tape to the pedals so it’s in great shape cosmetically too. JZT-Colorado
How is the tire (original with 800 miles?), and do you have the original box and are you able to ship via FedEx?
the_deeb
The tire’s in good shape and probably has ~300 miles on it (I replaced the original after getting a flat). I’d prefer to sell locally if possible, but I’ll consider shipping if I can’t.
litewave
Interesting. Not in the market for a backup atm but am curious: 1. What are the sidepads made from? 2. Why did you have to replace the motor? Thanks.

The side pads are DIY - I made them from layered and sculpted sheets of EPDM foam sheets that I picked up from a Halloween craft store. They’ve got a sort of scaly pattern to them and I suspect were intended for a cosplay dragon costume 2. Had to replace the motor due to a hall sensor error.
