Kingsong 16xs, wheel won't turn on/charge - found random chip.

My 16xs suddenly cut out and dumped me while I was slow crusing along the path. On the day, the wheel wouldn't turn on despite being near full charge, when I brought it home it wouldn't charge or do the ususual things that would indicate it was charging. The actual wheel is very difficult to turn, almost as if it has brakes on, which is quite different to how it normally is when just powered off.

Today I took it apart and suddenly discovered a chip pressed into the side of my battery pack and I can't for the life of me work out where it's come from, I'm hoping someone here knows so I can put it back where it belongs?

That sounds like mosfets have burned.. In which case you would need new motherboard as minimum. Hope the batteries are okay..

It's placed around here. (Both sides should have one? "I think". So you can check..)

agree with @Funky switch is not the source of your issue (just a coincidence - maybe accidentally left in machine during manuf or one of your switches got loose?). If mosfet blasto means controller is toast! If under warranty, return to dealer. Else you gotta replace the board yourself. Take pics so you remember what goes where!

EUCO appears to hv but aint cheap :-(
