Thinking about the commander.. can owners tell me more?

Recommended Posts

I really want an S22 but the more I read a out it the more I really don't want to deal with all it's... "Features". The commander at the current price is really appealing. Not too many videos on the high speed version. Wondering if anyone could tell me more about it. Any major problems? Seems to be a pretty reliable wheel.

Speaking of reliability. My buddy has a batch 1 V12 with over 15k miles on it!! That's nuts. Lol 😂

Any 15k mile commander owners?

i have an HS one, it's a fantastic wheel, what do you need to know ?

in terms of build quality is the best gotway build ever made, almost perfect out of the box, you only need to do the air ventilation mod.
you can check my YT channel for some videos:

Man! How fast were you going? Lol. Well, how many miles do you have on it and what problems have you had in those miles? How's the tire change on it?

2k miles

0 issues

pros:

  • infinite range, the most of all 3600wh - tons of mileage at 40mph
  • lightest 3600wh  wheel - 36kg
  • tire change is really easy, disconnect the motor and slide it out
  • great quality - solid structure
  • 100v gotway

cons:

  • air mod is a must otherwyse it overheats like nothing (there's a topic with all the infos )
  • trolley is a bit flimsy but do the job

plus:

  • mine comes with CNC pedals, they are great like the honeycomb version
  • i've added a lift switch
  • i've done a light mod, now it's tiltable like sherman

This is a video to check out. Also check his other Commander vids on his YT page as well to get more context...

My more experienced euc friends raise concern of the relative distance/access potential of water getting str8 to the motherboard with this type of air induction mod.
I agree, but it needs to be modified from stock.
