vikingto Posted October 10, 2022 Share Posted October 10, 2022 So after letting the nephews ride this for the last couple months, this developed out of nowhere the other day. There was no event that caused this, they treated it well, it just came on all of a sudden. In hard mode it sounds like this (video), diminished in medium, and in soft mode only happens in braking after getting some speed under it. Motor was replaced in the spring (cracked axel welds in previous motor) and had been running like new ever since. Turned out that all 6 pedal hanger bolts on both sides had loosened up, just like on Duf's 16X in the video. I feel like a better lock washer system could be used on those bolts. They go into the plastic inner shell so I get that you can't use thread compound, but there's gotta be a better way to lock em down tight so they don't work their way out. 2 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
