mikko
There's a transformer on the motherboard of the S22, visible in the disassembly video around the two minute mark. Why? What is it used for? Only reason I can think of for having a transformer is boosting voltage since a step down converter would be enough in the other direction. But why boost a voltage in that wheel? Anyone know? Edited August 19, 2022 by mikko typo
mikko
Or a flyback converter that's there for galvanic isolation and multiple output voltages? 🤔
