At least it wasnt a costly endeavor. I wonder how they really expect to profit off THIS particular scam? Maybe he's trying to sell a box of bricks and a can of paint? Don't hold it against us tho. The selection of this photo with the flaw might have been deliberate. It may be acting as a means to filter out people who would not fall for a scam. A scammer might not want to be flooded with replies, and waste time and effort on people that won't ultimately be scammed. Filter them out. Interestingly, I saw yet another listing here in USA with same picture several weeks ago. That sticker was indeed the first clue. And then I wanted to find the same picture from elsewhere which would be a decisive evidence, but I was not able to. What's funny is the guys never replied to my messages. I think you are right that they are sort of hoping to filter out people who would fall for a scam.
