So….this is the same wheel you’ve been working on, right ? I re-read the other thread. That pedal hanger is supposed to be fixed to the axle, right ? So it got loose and was  scraping the motor housing ? That was the noise you heard recently ?

Surely that wasn’t just a press fit…or was it ? I’m not familiar with that wheel. But good on ya for keeping at it.

is there a set screw in the side of that pedal hanger ?

I'm not sure tbh that's why I posted before I reassemble the wheel and hurt myself lol

Yes, the stator, the axle and the pedal hangers are all solidly connected. The housing/ rim/ wheel turn.
what about the other pedal hanger ? Still fixed to the axle ? Notice any difference between the two ?

Have you watched assembly/ disassembly vids ? Your answer may be there.

Yeah all the videos I could find, they seem to skip that step but I think I may have thought of a solution and I will try it tomorrow

I'm not familiar with the arm clamp mechanism on the V10. There has to be one as it's very important that the axle and arm are securely mounted together.

Maybe you're missing something. I've seen some clamps use wedges, some use a non circular axle, or a combination of both.
