They're probably ok when you have a large enough pack. When the pack is merely a 4P (four parallel cells), losing one could blow the fuse wires on the other three etc = faceplant. An EUC is a fairly high current environment. You don't want to blow those fuses during acceleration/braking. Only when a cell catastrophically shorts internally.
