Hi,

on the narrow Gotway rim the tire is 70mm wide (at widest point, with knobbies) and 60mm high from the rim. The 80/80-14 size relates to the tire beeing mounted on a 1.85x14" "standard rim". i guess 1.85" is the width of the rim, and the gotway rim is a good bit narrower.

Hmm K66 width was ~73-76mm on both 80/80 & 80/90 also classic rim..

Height for 80/90 was 65mm

Funny thing both count as "80" width.

Would it be possible to cut some knobs on sides, to make it more narrow? How much would it be possible to cut, till tire side walls?

If i would mount it on 40mm rim, it would also be more narrower? Versus your 1.85" (47mm? rim?)

And K66 for reference, pretty much same.

When mounted on the rim both are 70-71mm wide. 73-76mm wide i can only imagine on the wider Sherman rim.
