Wolverine
Hi and welcome to the forum! There are many different unicycles with different features. There are also many used ones on the market to buy. Many things depend on the weight of the geared-up driver. Can we ask your weight? For safety reasons, we recommend purchasing Inmotion or KingSong unicycles. If you want to know more about it, information is available everywhere in this forum. Brand new King Song 14D (with 800W motor) should be a good starter wheel for a $899. Top speed is 18.6 MPH, which is less than you are looking for. If you want to get a significantly faster unicycle than this, you have to pay a lot more. https://www.ewheels.com/product/new-king-song-14d-420wh-battery800w-motor/ Inmotion V8F (with 1000W motor) gives you top speed of 21.7 MPH with price of $1199. https://www.ewheels.com/product/new-inmotion-v8f-518wh-battery-1000w-motor/ When you fell in love with these, $2000 is what we pay to get more range, more speed and a bigger tire. If your budget is limited to $500, look at used unicycles. Used unicycles section is also available in our forum. Also, when searching for a used unicycle, look for Inmotion or KingSong products, avoid other manufacturers. Edited December 28, 2021 by Wolverine Typo. OldFartRides
There’s what appears to be a smokin’ deal on a KS18xl on this page in your general vicinity….just sayin. That’s one you won’t outgrow too quickly.

Zutto
@Wolverine my weight is 200 pounds at the moment. Getting fitter though, losing about 5 pounds a month recently. Definitely keeping the Kingsong 14D in mind.
Wolverine
@ZuttoMy weight is about the same. If there are no big hills in your area, then KS-14D (with 800W motor) is a good starter wheel. But if you have big hills near you then you need something more powerful wheel (1800W+). The more a person weighs and the more complex terrain, the more power is needed from the electric motor to keep us safe on euc. If the battery has a low capacity (for example 420Wh), it will not be able to provide the required power for a long period of time and may still give the rider a faceplant. The larger the battery, the better it can support the electric motor and therefore keeps the rider safe. Which brings us to the fact that wearing protective gear is highly recommended. OldFartRides
Hi, welcome to the forum. Do you know if AMG Studios is offering service yet on the wheels they sell ? I bought two wheels from them with the understanding ( at the time) that there was no after sale service available.
