The tip of my KS18L charger (lenovo plug) melted, should I get it repaired?

If it melted I would replace or repair. I work with electronics both low and very high voltage. Bad connections can burn your house down quickly.
My previous hobby of 20 years was salt water reef aquariums. I had too many close calls with bad connections.
Unfortunately the Lenovo plug is the most difficult to repair properly. ........ I would just buy a new one. A Gotway or InMotion owner might convert it over and have a use for it though.
