S18 Suspension Grinding any Help appreciated

Weird. I took a similar photo of my S18 just to gain some appreciation of the exact location of the abraded arm on your wheel.

There appears to be no contact of any component in that region to cause the abrasion of the suspension arm.

Here is a side view depicting the clearance between the rigid wiring harness and suspension arm (approximately 3/8”)

What is the length of your shock in a relaxed state (non weight bearing)? Mine measures 2 5/8” from center pivot joint to outer piston casing.

Can you share a close up video of the abraded suspension arm (side view) as you compress the shock while pushing down on the wheel? Turn on the wheel first.

best I can do, best way to describe there is no clearance between the outer and the inner gold colored suspension component

can you take a pic of the clearance on yours

thanks

Sorry but I was not able to determine the problem watching your videos. Here are a few closeup photos of my suspension arms. The clearance between the inner and outer suspension arms is extremely close. Each of my articulations are separated by a .50mm washer.

Don’t worry about my blue shock compression check ring being to distal. I was just cleaning the shock.

Got it solved, there were 2 washers on the top most bolt between the inner arm and the body, i removed it and placed it between the inner and outer linkages the side that was rubbing. No more rubbing. But generaly a very poor design, thinking of reconfiguring it a bit. But for now will go out and enjoy a couple of rides... Thanks for the help
