Finn Bjerke Posted December 27, 2020 Posted December 27, 2020 See it here on the link. Broken metal frame under the saddle piece. https://ibb.co/DWKx97M Quote
EUChristian Posted December 27, 2020 Posted December 27, 2020 This happened to me when I crashed at 32 mph. One side broke. Quote
Finn Bjerke Posted December 27, 2020 Author Posted December 27, 2020 What can be done about it ? Quote
EUChristian Posted December 27, 2020 Posted December 27, 2020 A new one has to be installed. It's a critical failure. You could try to epoxy or something at your own risk. How did this happen? Quote
Finn Bjerke Posted December 27, 2020 Author Posted December 27, 2020 I have no idea -- I was taking the wheel apart in order to fix bearing + Motor. The whole proces was pretty annoying - Yes I have crashed the wheel but no very crashes really, clean break where the screw hole is so I wonder if that screw had generated some pressure on the structure af I got the new replacement saddle piece. uploading viceo -- the glue I put on is bloody useless Quote

BlckRck2014 Posted December 28, 2020 Posted December 28, 2020 This seems like a manufacturing defect. I think they should, but dont know if they would, cover it under warranty. I wonder how many v11 owners have this break but don't know it. 1 Quote
Roadified Posted January 22, 2022 Posted January 22, 2022 (edited) I broke mine like this too (also via bolt holes). Speed 20-25 km/h. Bicyclist cut me off. Edited January 22, 2022 by Roadified 1 Quote
