Joseph Everest Posted October 21, 2020 Share Posted October 21, 2020 I have a new M103 arriving soon. I have an idea to make custom body armor out of thermo plastics. But my main concern is that some part of the case will get so hot it will start to soften the thermo plastic. Does anyone have experience with how hot the new MTen3 gets? Rehab1 Posted October 21, 2020 Share Posted October 21, 2020 (edited) Congrats on your new wheel! You’ll be fine using thermoplastic. The shell does not get hot unless it bakes in the sun. I’ve fabricated many thermo protective shells for my wheels. If I can ask- what type of plastic are you using?
