Tasku Posted October 12, 2020 Share Posted October 12, 2020 Today I took a fall. A case leaves hiding the mud on road.Autumn can be risky. I was accelerating and the mud caught me by surprise. The wheel just slide out below me and I fell to my right. Wheel isFne! No worries, RollNZ-cover got lil torn on it but I can fix it. Shell is looking good as new. My clothes got torn too, gear in general got lil extra marks on it now. I am in one piece, just one wound/scratch on my right arm near elbow. I have Leatt 2-piece knee guards and they are amazing. I had 2 slides with em and walked away without a scratch on me. My wrist guards got some scratch on it now too, I never ride without em. One gear failed for me and that be elbow guards. I want to replace em, cause when I fell this piece moved away from protecting my elbow and that is why I got hurt. Anyone know something to recommend? What gear do you have? Thank you for replying. shellac Posted October 13, 2020 Share Posted October 13, 2020 I too got burned by elbow pads once that tore instantly on impact. Now I like the Fox Titan elbow pads. They are snug hard plastic.
