Aaron Corsi
Has anybody else found that their tire leaks air pretty quickly? I've noticed that mine does, I'm having to top it off about twice a week. At first I thought it was just because it's been cold lately but at this point I'm pretty sure it's leaking air. I checked the tire for anything that could have pierced it and it seems to be in good shape. It's not a big deal other than an inconvenience (although the wobble I had at high speed today before topping off my tire back at home was pretty scary) but I'm planning on taking my wheel on a cross country train trip soonish and I'm thinking a mini bike pump is going to be a necessary accessory to bring with me. One
Had the same problem and had to inflate the tire twice a week. Then I bought a new valve and this helped. You need a special tool for changing the valve but it´s not very expensive. The replacement is also done easily.
Paulandjacquelyn
A cap solved my issue. I tried tightening valve core no luck. Many caps have a rubber seal inside so quick fix and cheap. Got at auto part store for ease Quick tip......Slime tire sealant comes with a valve core tool. This way you can add Slime and tigten core for around $
Aaron Corsi
Thanks for the tips! For now I've installed the valve cap that came with my valve extension, I'll look into replacing the valve and/or adding slime soon.
