MBIKER_SURFER
2 days ago, my Nikola was fully loaded. This evening, I started riding at 83,6 V. 100 m uphill - than downhill same street, because I forgot something. After approx. 10 m riding dowhn the street - approx 10% slope - my Nikola started beeping and I realized tilt back and jumped off at low speed. Picked up the Nikola and was riding after that tilt back for 2 hours without any problems. Could it be, that due to full batter and downhill with recuperation the Nikola started the 'tilt back'? Does anybody have an explanation or similar experience?
erk1024
I think you're right. You got the tiltback because the electronics were trying to keep the battery from overcharging. You *did* go 100 meters uphill, so that used some battery, but going back down the hill, the wheel's safeties kicked in. If you charged to 90%, you'd probably never have that problem again (assuming you charge it to 100% once in a while to balance the cells).
