mike_bike_kite Posted January 10, 2020 Share Posted January 10, 2020 I've taken off one pedal from my 16S and attached the 18L/XL pedal to it but I can't get the pedal to fold.It seems to be hitting something but I can't see what. The pedal looks right, it just doesn't fold. Any ideas? The old pedal had a metal bar with 2 grub screws while the new one has a bar that's tapered on one end and has just one grub screw at the other end. mike_bike_kite Posted January 10, 2020 Author Share Posted January 10, 2020 Turns out I just needed to install the pedal when it is folded up rather than folded down. No real idea why but it might be the spring on the inside. I have size 10 feet and always felt like the ball of my foot was on the edge of the pedal.
