Jacky Heshi
Hi guys, I just recently installed USB fast charging on my wheel using the existing Gotway Tesla USB port. As you probably know, the charge current on the existing models pushes less than 1A of current which will take forever to charge my Samsung S9+. Now I am able to charge my phone with the wheel's battery while the wheel is powered off. I only used three things to accomplish this; here's how to replicate what I did: A latching push button 84V to 12V DC to DC buck converter: Aliexpress 12V car charger with fast charging 3.0 capability. You will need to put the latching push button in series with the input of the buck converter. You will also need to connect to the data pins D+ & D- pins on the female USB port. You will need to remove the existing female USB port on the car charger and add a few centimeters of wire for the extension. Let me know if you guys have any questions.

Thank you for posting details Where do you tap into the battery? You can parallel tap into the 84v battery line that's connected to the board. I installed a switch externally to shut it on and off so I doesn't drain any power when it's in storage.
