MSX board in a Monster

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know if one can put an MSX board into a Monster or vice versa? I have a 84v Monster that won't power on and am wondering if the motherboard has failed. As it is I happen to have a perfectly working 84v MSX with a board that looks all bit identical to the Monster's and I wanting to know if it would be possible to try one board in the other wheel to test if the board itself has failed or if the fault is elsewhere.

i mean depending on the age of the monster theyre practically the same board just with different firmware.. theres no reason you shouldnt be able to use it to test to see if thats the issue.. just dont ride it lol
